National Auction House Opens New York Office to Serve Growing National Clientele
NEW YORK, NY – January 24, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Max Spann Real Estate & Auction Co., the prominent and well established real estate auction house that has seen its business grow nationally from its base in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region, is opening an office in New York City.
Company President Max Spann Jr. said the success of Max Spann’s real estate auctions has led to increased demand for its services around of the country.
“Being located in the nation’s financial, legal and real estate capital will allow us to better serve our growing national client base,” Spann said. “The office perfectly positions us to take full strategic advantage of a market that demands our services.”
Max Spann’s New York office will be located at 370 Lexington Avenue, in Manhattan. The company will retain its New Jersey offices in Clinton as well. The New York office will be headed by Jeffrey Freireich, who helped lead the Kushner Cos. to a position of prominence and dynamic growth in the real estate industry during his more than 20 year association with that firm as partner in charge of development and acquisitions activities.
Spann said the company offers a unique service by creatively marketing properties to attract large crowds of potential bidders, creating a “stock market” where true values can be determined.
In an uncertain market, bidders like the idea of being able to name their own price for a particular property. Sellers like the idea of being able to move multiple units quickly, efficiently and profitably, all within a single day.
In the past year, Max Spann has held dozens of auctions and competitive-bid events throughout the nation, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Ohio,
Massachusetts, Maryland and Delaware. More auctions are planned for New York, South Carolina, Colorado, Illinois and Florida in the coming months.
“We have a tremendous client base that has spread the word about the value of our auction services,” Spann said. “We’re growing quickly thanks to those referrals, the quality of our services and the market demand across the country.”
