FEMA Experts Offer Rebuilding Advice at Home for the Holidays Show, Schenectady County
ALBANY, N.Y. – November 10, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Mitigation experts from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be at Home for the Holidays Show, part of Arts, Crafts & Lifestyle Shows in Schenectady County this Friday, Saturday and Sunday to offer information on preparing for future disasters, flood insurance and rebuilding safer and stronger.
FEMA staff will have a display booth at the Home for the Holidays Show, on Friday, Nov. 11, Saturday, Nov.12, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. , and Sunday, Nov. 13, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Rotterdam Square Mall, 93 West Campbell Road, Schenectady, N. Y. 12306.
Information on how to repair and clean flooded homes will be available. Among the publications available will be: Protecting Your Home and Property from Flood Damage, The Benefits of Flood Insurance versus Disaster Assistance and Answers to Questions About the National Flood Insurance Program.
