New Destiny is a New York City nonprofit founded in 1994 to provide housing and services to one of the City's most vulnerable homeless populations – victims of domestic violence and their children. Building Affordable Housing for Families in the Bronx

New Destiny Housing Corporation, a non-profit developer of affordable housing for families, has started construction on its newest mixed income housing project – The Jennings, located on Jennings Street in the Crotona Park East section of the Bronx. The Jennings will be an eight-story building with 42 apartments affordable for low-income households from the community with 23 apartments reserved for families coming from New York City domestic violence shelters. Project completion is expected in spring 2019.
