KELLER WILLIAMS NYC NAMES DAWN DOHERTY HEAD OF PRODUCTIVITY COACHING

New York, NY – February 21, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Keller Williams NYC (www.kwnyc.com), the Manhattan franchise of leading real estate firm Keller Williams Realty Inc., has announced the appointment of Dawn Doherty as Head of Productivity Coaching.

Her responsibilities will include integrating the award-winning Keller Williams national coaching and education platform to Keller Williams NYC, synthesizing the firm’s content and approach to deliver a highly effective program for its Manhattan agents.

“I am so excited to connect with the Keller Williams method for driving major productivity with agents, and working with real estate professionals to hire, develop and lead teams that will allow them to grow their business,” Doherty states. “The Keller Williams model is unique to New York City, and I encourage every agent to at least understand the way the company works. Keller is about the agent first, and this is the basis for everything I do, which is centered on helping agents brand and communicate their beliefs and strengths as effectively as possible, both online and offline.”

Doherty recently left the Chief Digital Officer role at Prudential Douglas Elliman, with the intention of launching her own productivity coaching and education company. After reviewing the Keller Williams value proposition, she decided to take the proven Keller Williams method and layer it with her coaching experience and expertise as well as her understanding of the New York City real estate market.

“Keller Williams NYC is all about maximizing agent productivity and leverage. Far too many agents, including top producers, work inefficiently and have built dysfunctional team structures. Partnering with Dawn to oversee our Productivity Coaching program will make it much easier for our agents to work smarter with more structure, translating into a dramatically increased bottom line,” states Eric Barron, CEO of Keller Williams NYC.

Previously, Doherty was vice president of strategic development at StreetEasy.com, the sales and rental listing website she launched with Founder Michael Smith. She spent five years growing the company’s consumer reach along with its agent tools and participation.

She recently completed her professional coaching coursework through IPEC Coaching (www.ipeccoaching.com), the leading coaching certification training school.
