New York – (RealEstateRama) — The New York State Council on the Arts will be holding a Council Meeting February 16 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the NYSCA offices, 300 Park South, 10th Fl, New York, NY. The purpose of the meeting will be for the Council to vote on FY17 appeals, to review nominations for Panelists to evaluate FY18 grant applications, and to review grantees who have been awarded multi-year support and are scheduled to receive funding in FY18.

The New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) champions community and creativity by preserving and advancing numerous aspects of the cultural heritage that makes New York State an exceptional place to live, work and visit. These aims are primarily achieved through the agency’s grant-making activity. Annually, the agency awards $41 Million to more than 1,200 organizations statewide.
