Regus relocating HQ business center to new, larger state-of-the-art facility in Hauppauge Industrial Park

HAUPPAUGE, NY – May 19, 2008 – The Regus Group (LSE: RGU), the world’s largest provider of fully furnished and equipped offices with 950 locations in 70 countries, today announced that it is relocating its HQ Hauppauge business center from 300 Vanderbilt Motor Parkway to a brand new, larger facility in the Hauppauge Industrial Park. The 13,000 square foot business center is conveniently located directly off the Long Island Expressway at 150 Motor Parkway and features 58 offices, 120 workstations and two conference rooms.

“We were in our old HQ Hauppauge center for nearly 20 years and it was consistently at or near full occupancy, so moving to this expanded location allows us to proactively respond to the increased demand that we continue to experience in Long Island as well as provide our clients with a new, state-of-the-art facility,” said Donna Scott, Regional Vice President for Regus. “The new center offers our clients the opportunity to have an office in a great location in one of the fastest growing business districts on Long Island.”

The Regus 150 Motor Parkway center comes with a number of amenities including an on-site receptionist to greet clients, answer the phone in the business’ name and provide administrative support; a reception area; a business café with wireless Internet connectivity; and a business lounge that allows clients/visitors to remain productive while on the road or between meetings.

Members of the press are invited to attend the center’s official grand opening event and ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 5, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. The Hauppauge Chamber of Commerce and several local dignitaries will be in attendance.

The new center will operate under the Regus brand. Regus is a member of the The Regus Group network. Other Regus Group brands include HQ Global Workplaces, Stratis Business Centers, and Business Meeting Places.

Regus currently has eight Long Island locations including one in Bohemia, one in Lake Success, two in Melville, one in Syosset, and two in Uniondale. The Melville location at 68 South Service Road opened in early 2007.

Scott added, “Long Island continues to be a strong performing market for us. Our new Hauppauge location allows us to add to our growing footprint and offer our clients even more cost-effective options when it comes to meeting their work space requirements.”

O’Connell is President and Owner of Employee Support Network LLC, a national employee assistance program which provides counseling and referral services, and onsite educational training to businesses nationwide. O’Connell has been a client at The Regus Group’s HQ Hauppauge Center for four years. She says her company has benefited tremendously from The Regus Group’s extensive footprint.

“Having access to all Regus/HQ offices across the country is a major benefit for us because we don’t have to worry about opening full-time offices in locations that may not be costeffective for our business,” said O’Connell. “I also like the fact that we can use professional and state-of-the-art conference rooms as our training facilities in any of the Regus locations. Whenever we need to use a meeting or conference room with Regus, I can rely on the fact that it will be a first-class business environment.”

O’Connell added, “For my business, customer service is critical, and having friendly, trained personnel to greet customers and answer phones is of critical importance. A major benefit of being with Regus is that they offer a fully trained and experienced front desk staff. I don’t have to worry about managing and training a staff at every location, nor do I have to foot the bill for their salary and benefits. A high level of customer service, offered in a cost-effective manner, is the most important feature that Regus offers us.”

Every day Regus provides more than 200,000 clients worldwide with flexible and costeffective workplace options to meet their specific needs.
