STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS AVAILABLE TO RESIDENTS OF SOLEIL LOFTS IN JERSEY CITY

Cutting Edge Technology Installed at New Condo Development for Convenience and Security

JERSEY CITY, N.J. – January 20, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — The developers of Soleil Lofts, a converted residential development in the South Journal Square area of Jersey City, today unveiled its cutting edge technology systems that will provide a high level of convenience and security to all residents.

Located at 769 Montgomery Street, Soleil Lofts is a six story, 38-unit condominium residential building that was recently converted from an Art Deco police precinct built originally in 1925.  As part of the building’s complete gut renovation, a number of technological features were installed including: a virtual doorman for convenient living; remote entry and access control system; and security cameras viewable remotely on the internet and by cable television inside the building.

“We are so pleased to be able to offer residents of Soleil Lofts these advanced technological features,” said Jamie Daniels, an agent and senior vice president of Halstead Property New Jersey. “Features such as the virtual concierge have gained in popularity in recent years, as they function superbly, are cost effective and have proven to increase property values over time.”

The virtual concierge system is operated by Visentry, the nation’s leading virtual doorman service, and is maintained by BH Security of Union, New Jersey. The system will be managed by a live operator 24 hours a day, seven days a week and will accept all deliveries made to residents at the development. Additionally, if residents lose their keys, they can use the system to gain entry into the building by using a personalized password.

Separately, the Door King Telephone Entry and Access Control System will monitor guests visiting the building.  Visitors will be identified by voice communication and granted or denied access directly from a touch-tone telephone operated by individual unit owners.

The control system will also work in conjunction with the Comcast Dedicated Security Monitoring Channel that will allow residents to monitor four building points of entry including vestibule, stairway, parking garage, and lobby access to elevator. The Open Eye Direct Digital Video Recorder will allow all Soleil Lofts owners to view footage from 16 cameras located throughout the building via the internet to monitor building visitors, maintenance and service calls, and all building deliveries.

Soleil Lofts is located in South of Journal Square, a neighborhood in the McGinley Square section of Jersey City which is becoming known as “SoJo.”  It is close to shopping, restaurants, other residential developments, and St. Peter’s College, and is just a short walk to the PATH’s Journal Square stop.

Soleil Lofts was developed by 769 Montgomery Street Urban Renewal, LLC.  Soleil Lofts has 19 remaining units including a mix of one and two bedroom homes ranging in size from 820 to more than 2,300 square feet, and in price from $215,000 – $429,000. Due to the nature of the conversion, no two remaining units are alike.  The development is currently 50% sold, and closings and occupancy are immediate.

Sales operate out of the building’s on-site sales office and are directed by Halstead as the exclusive sales & marketing agent.  For more information, please visit: www.soleillofts.com or www.halsteadpdm.com.
