Architects Georgina Lalli and Shi Guo Join BAM Architecture Studio

NEW YORK CITY, NY – December 12, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Architects Georgina Lalli and Shi (Lydia) Guo have joined BAM Architecture Studio’s professional team, says Ross Adam Cole, principal of BAM Architecture Studio, which is known for its work in the corporate, life sciences and healthcare sectors.
Ms. Lalli, 28, who most recently served as a teaching assistant at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP), has worked at several international architecture firms, including KKAA Kengo Kuma & Associates in Japan, EMBT Enric Miralles Benedetta Tagliabue in Spain, and Studio Ayllòn, Studio Collotti and rrs-studio in Italy. She also has served as an independent architecture professional, working for private clients.

Ms. Lalli earned a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, and a Master of Architecture from the University of Florence in Italy. She speaks Spanish and Italian, in addition to English.

Ms. Guo, 27, a native of China, comes to BAM from LMW Engineering Group, where she served as an architectural designer. She has also held positions at the Newark Downtown Core Redevelopment Corporation in New Jersey, and Zeidler Partnership Architects and DGN Construction Institute, both in Beijing, China.
Ms. Guo earned a Master of Architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Architecture from Beijing University of Technology.
