Blair and Sean Kearns, senior director and director of Cushman & Wakefield, respectively, to the leasing team at 250 West 57th Street, announces Anthony E. The two real estate veterans recently joined Cushman & Wakefield from Colliers International, where they specialized in landlord representation.
Mr. Blair has nearly 20 years of commercial real estate experience. During his tenure at Colliers, he represented several million square feet on behalf of Manhattan landlords, along with representing many local, national, and international tenants. In 2006, Mr. Blair completed Colliers International’s most significant transaction, and in 2007 he was the firm’s fourth highest producer. He and Mr. Kearns received the Real Estate Board of New York’s 2008 Retail Deal of the Year, in recognition of the repositioning of the retail space at 500 Fifth Avenue that resulted in a lease by Zara.
Earlier, Mr. Blair served as vice president and director for leasing and management for Helmsley-Noyes Co., Inc. A graduate of St. John’s University, he is on the board of The Bryant Park Corporation and is a member of the Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association.
Mr. Kearns has nearly 10 years of commercial real estate experience. At Colliers, he represented more than one million square feet of commercial space. In 2005, he was named the firm’s Associate of the Year.
Before entering the field of commercial real estate, Mr. Kearns was a newspaper reporter for the Los Angeles Daily News and Long Beach Press Telegram. A graduate of the University of Southern California (USC), Mr. Kearns is a member of the board of governors for USC’s Alumni Association and is on its executive committee.
