PRLog (Press Release) – April 11, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Following a flurry of recent new hires that started with top New York City brokers Howard Rosen and John Cannon in January, Lee & Associates NYC does not appear to be slowing its recruitment and hiring activity as the Madison Ave. office adds two more professionals to its already impressive roster. Dennis Someck and Mitchell Kunikoff, whose brother Robert Kunikoff also joined Lee NYC last month, both join the team as executive managing directors and principals, rounding out a new total of 30 brokers in Lee’s New York office.

Someck joins Lee NYC with 30 years of industry experience specializing in commercial real estate and having represented tenants in the acquisition and disposition of office space in the New York metropolitan area. Previously an executive managing director at George Comfort & Sons for 10 years and a senior vice president at Collins Tuttle & Company for 10 years, Someck has completed over 800 tenant representation assignments. Among the companies he has represented are Anna Sui Corp., Vitech Systems Group, The Marwood Group, Invision, The Spector Group, OMGPOP and The Seaport Group.
Born and bred in Manhattan, 25-year veteran Kunikoff comes to Lee NYC from a 10-year period at George Comfort & Sons and before that was a senior vice president at Collins, Tuttle & Company for over 10 years. His wide-ranging client list includes Gotham Bank of New York, Spector Group, FedEx Kinko’s, Offerpop.com and The Seaport Group. He specializes in acquisition and disposition of space for office landlords and tenants.
Someck holds a master’s degree in sociology from San Diego University and a bachelor’s degree in urban studies from Cornell University. He has been a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and has served on its Grand Central Committee for the past 10 years. Kunikoff holds a bachelor’s degree from New York University and has been a member of The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) for over 20 years.
