Syracuse, NY – April 30, 2009 – (RealEstateRama) — The construction of new housing on the near East Side has officially begun, as Housing Visions breaks ground on its 28 unit housing development. Loguen Homes is a continuation of the revitalization efforts undertaken by Housing Visions. Loguen Homes accomplishes two major goals; developing high quality, attractive housing units, and offering well-managed and affordable housing in the neighborhood. 11 properties along Lexington Ave., Columbus Ave., S. Beech St., Pine St. and E. Fayette Street will be included.
Deborah VanAmerongen, Commissioner of the Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR) said, “Loguen Homes is part of Housing Visions’ continuous efforts to revitalize neighborhoods throughout Syracuse. DHCR is proud to be a part of this preservation effort that will result in 28 units of quality, energy-efficient affordable housing for Syracuse residents.”
