HALSTEAD PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT MARKETING HOSTS OPEN HOUSE WEEKEND IN MAJOR PROMOTION FEATURING 15 TOP DEVELOPMENTS

New York, NY – April 13, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Halstead Property Development Marketing today announced they will showcase 15 developments in a joint open house during the weekend of April 16, 2011.

Developers of buildings from Brooklyn, Chelsea, Uptown, and Hell’s Kitchen have come together in a coordinated, major marketing effort to showcase their premier properties. In a similar event last fall — also conducted during the height of the fall selling season — the heavily financed push resulted in more than three times the typical weekend open house traffic for each participating development.

The featured selection of top-tier developments will have something for everyone – from studios  to four bedrooms; lofts to townhomes;  high-end amenities; private outdoor space; opportunities for FHA financing, immediate occupancy and more. Mortgage brokers will be on hand at several developments to provide information on financing and interest rates. Open houses at all developments will run from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on both Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17, 2011.

“Giving buyers a host of choices with a collaborative open house is an effective and time-efficient strategy for both sides,” said Stephen G. Kliegerman, executive director of Halstead Property Development Marketing. “Pooling their resources offers developers the opportunity to reach an even wider market of potential buyers.”

During the open house weekend, visitors will tour the just-opened Kirkman Lofts on Bridge Street in DUMBO and the newly modeled penthouse at 58 Metropolitan in Williamsburg. Buyers will also get a last chance to tour The 505 in Hell’s Kitchen, Beacon Towers in Harlem and 80 Metropolitan in Brooklyn. There are fewer than 10 homes still available in each, ranging in size from 615 to1,456 square feet and price from $642,000 to $1.695 M at The 505;  585 to1,346 square feet and $275,000 to $595,000 at Beacon Towers; and 1,290 to 555 square feet and $399,000 to$1.195 M at 80 Met.

Those with an eye for design can check out +aRt on West 28th Street, which will be the home for the ELLE DÉCOR Modern Life Concept House in May, and 88 Morningside, which has a new model apartment by BoConcept.  For those buyers looking to save a little extra, The 505 on West 47th is paying transfer taxes and offering an $8,000 closing credit on contracts signed by April 30th.
