President of firm’s New York operations serves as honoree at May 17 fundraiser to benefit National Jewish Health, the No. 1 respiratory hospital in the nation
NEW YORK, NY – May 15, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Jones Lang LaSalle announced that Peter Riguardi, president of New York operations, will be honored by the New York AIR Society at its annual The Sky’s The Limit benefit on May 17.
The event will be held at Three Sixty°, located at 10 Desbrosses Street in Tribeca, to support National Jewish Health, the nation’s No. 1 respiratory hospital, as named by U.S. News & World Report for 14 consecutive years. Among those celebrating Riguardi’s contributions to his profession and his community will be Jason D. Pizer, president of Trinity Real Estate and event co-chair; and Roger Silverstein, executive vice president of leasing for Silverstein Properties Inc., event co-chair and founding AIR Society member.
Riguardi is one of many New York professionals who have been instrumental in supporting Denver-based National Jewish Health, the nation’s leading research and treatment center focused on respiratory, cardiac and immune diseases.
“It has been a privilege to offer my support to National Jewish Health,” said Riguardi. “The organization is justifiably famous for its lifegiving work over the years. It is truly an honor to be recognized at such a prestigious event, surrounded by my friends and family, as well as my peers in the real estate industry.”
As president of New York operations for Jones Lang LaSalle, Riguardi leads all operations for the company in the tri-state area. He is responsible for broadening the company’s New York platform by developing key client relationships, leading major projects, maintaining senior real estate industry contacts and political relationships, and recruiting new talent. Under Riguardi’s leadership, Jones Lang LaSalle has established itself as a market leader in the New York metropolitan region, and the company’s market share, revenue and profitability have all increased substantially.
During his 28-year career in commercial real estate, he has been actively involved in several of the largest and most noteworthy transactions in the New York area. The New York Observer consistently ranks Riguardi as one of New York’s most influential real estate executives.
Riguardi serves on the Board of Governors for The Real Estate Board of New York and is an active member of the organization’s senior leadership. He is also on the Board of Directors of The Regional Plan Association, the Board of The Rabin Medical Center of Israel, and is a member of The Partnership for the City of New York.

Since 1998, U.S. News & World Report has ranked National Jewish Health the number one respiratory hospital in the nation.
New York AIR Society
The AIR Society (for Asthma, Immunology and Respiratory medicine) was founded in New York in 1991 when a group of young professionals came together because they or their family members had been treated for asthma, allergies or immune system disorders at National Jewish Health.
