Now Carry the Prestigious EPA Designation
New York, NY – January 24, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — SL Green Realty Corp. (NYSE: SLG) announced today that fifteen buildings in its New York City portfolio are recipients of the prestigious U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Energy Star Label.
100 Park Avenue, 420 Lexington Avenue, 100 Church Street, 180 Maiden Lane, 521 Fifth Avenue, 673 First Avenue, 600 Lexington Avenue are among the NYC properties recognized for superior performance, and among the most energy efficient buildings in the nation.
According to the EPA, properties with the Energy Star Label are more than 30 percent more efficient than those without, resulting in lower operating costs for both the Landlord and Tenants.

In addition to the New York City properties, eight buildings in SL Green’s suburban portfolio, namely 360 Hamilton Avenue, 140 Grand Street, 150 Grand Street, 100 Summit Lake Drive, 500 Summit Lake Drive, 500 West Putnam, 750 Washington Boulevard and 1055 Washington Boulevard, boast the Energy Star Label distinction. .
