Mr. Stacks is Senior Vice President at Capital One Bank and the Greater New York Market Manager for Commercial Real Estate.

Benjamin Stacks is a seasoned real estate banking executive with nearly 20 years of experience building profitable real estate banking relationships nationally and in New York City. He is responsible for managing a team of relationship managers charged with all aspects of client management including lending on real estate and cross selling a variety of banking services. Ben oversees a portfolio of loans of approximately $3.7 billion across diverse asset classes including office, retail and residential properties as well as across a variety of loan types including permanent, construction, reposition/renovation and mini-permanent.
Prior to joining Capital One Bank, he was an Executive Director and Team Leader in the New York City office of Eurohypo, a German-based global estate investment bank. Before that, he served as a relationship manager at HSBC Bank, USA, and M&T Bank. Mr. Stacks holds Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Syracuse University and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate from the Kogod School of Business at American University. He is currently an officer of the Real Estate Lenders Association and was previously Chairman of the Young Mortgage Bankers Association.
