NEW YORK CITY, NY – September 23, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — CresaPartners has arranged for The Malcolm Group, an apparel manufacturer supplying some of North America’s largest chain retailers, to sublease a portion of its office space at 1412 Broadway in Manhattan’s Times Square district.
Los Angeles-based Malcolm Group will yield the 12,915-square-foot 24th floor to fashion company BK, Inc., while retaining 5,307 square feet on the 23rd floor. Both companies will retain these spaces until late 2021.
“BK was looking for quality, affordable office space in the Times Square area just as The Malcolm Group was looking to scale back,” says Justin Halpern, associate at CresaPartners, who represented The Malcolm Group. “We’re glad to have been able to help both tenants achieve their respective goals.”
In addition to Mr. Halpern, Bob Stella, principal and executive vice president of CresaPartners, represented The Malcolm Group. BK, Inc. was represented in the transaction by Steve Chasnoff of Colliers International.
