ALBANY – February 21, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — The New York Department of State will host a public meeting of the STATE FIRE PREVENTION AND BUILDING CODE COUNCIL on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will take place using videoconferencing at various locations. The public has the right to attend the meeting at any of the locations.
The State Fire Prevention and Building Code Council is convening to discuss Uniform Code Building Resilience Initiatives and proposed rule makings to update the Uniform Code and the residential provisions of the Energy Code. The Council will also hear updates on the next Commercial Energy Code Adoption.
