Eric Herlands, Jason Gold, Joseph Sitt, Stephen Shapiro expand Investment Sales team
NEW YORK, NY – March 25, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Jones Lang LaSalle today announced Eric Herlands, Jason Gold, Joseph Sitt and Stephen Shapiro have joined the firm in the last several months as part of the firm’s New York City Capital Markets business as its investment sales team expands. The foursome is working under the direction of Vice Chairmen Richard Baxter, Jon Caplan, Ron Cohen and Scott Latham. Eric Herlands joins the firm as a Senior Vice President, while Jason Gold, Joseph Sitt and Stephen Shapiro each take on the role of Vice President.
These new dealmakers have been directly involved in numerous New York City transactions, and have worked with all asset types including office, multifamily, development, hotel, retail, and mixed-use properties.
Herlands has more than 24 years of experience within the commercial real estate industry, and is currently an adjunct faculty member at the NYU Shack Institute of Real Estate. He spent 10 years as a vice president of Investments at Reckson Associates Realty Corp. where he handled Class A office deals exceeding $3 billion. Gold was formerly a senior financial analyst at CB Richard Ellis and an associate director with GE Real Estate and graduated from George Washington University with bachelors of business administration in finance and international business. Sitt served as vice president at Massey Knakal prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, and graduated from University of Arizona with a bachelor of science degree in marketing. Shapiro has more than 10 years of experience, including eight at Eastdil and two at Savills, LLC. He received his bachelor of arts in political science and history from Yeshiva University.
