Kellogg Gaines joins as managing director with Real Estate Investment Banking group
NEW YORK, NY – March 28, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Jones Lang LaSalle announced today that it has hired Wall Street veteran Kellogg Gaines to the firm’s Americas Capital Markets business as part of firm’s overall expansion of its dedicated Real Estate Investment Banking expertise. Gaines joins as a Managing Director in the New York office where he will work with Co-Heads and Executive Managing Directors Tom Fish, Tom Melody and Mike Melody to lead the firm’s debt and equity sourcing and loan origination business in the New York region.

Gaines brings two decades of diversified real estate experience overseeing more than $8 billon of commercial real estate loans to Jones Lang LaSalle. Most recently, he served as a Partner of Glacier Global Partners, LLC, a merchant banking venture focused primarily on investments in the commercial real estate industry that invests debt and equity, recapitalizes entities and acquires commercial properties. Prior to that, Kelly was an Executive Director at Eurohypo AG, responsible for an 11-person team focused on originating commercial real estate loans for securitization, syndication and on-book executions. He has also held senior positions at Nomura Securities, International, PaineWebber/UBS and Citicorp Securities. He earned his bachelor of arts degree in political science from Boston University.
