New York, NY – March 12, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Rose Associates, the New York-based full-service real estate firm, announced today that Robert Werner has been promoted to Managing Director. Werner, 46, joined Rose in 1999 and has been acting as a Portfolio Director within the company’s residential management division.
“Rob’s skill set encompasses all facets of property management and it’s clear he’s refined his talents over more than a decade at Rose,” said J. Brian Peters, chief operating officer of Rose Associates. “As we expand our residential management portfolio, Rob will continue to benefit the firm and its clients.”
Having worked in residential building operations for more than 20 years, Werner has most recently overseen a portfolio of nearly 4,000 apartments spread among cooperative, condominium, cond-op and rental buildings. He has directed the successful openings of a number of luxury properties in Manhattan including 88 Leonard, Chelsea Landmark and The Corner. Werner, who is highly experienced in sponsor/owner relations, has successfully refinanced underlying mortgages at a number of properties. In addition, he has directed all variety of major capital improvements, from façade and interior renovations to boiler replacements and elevator modernization projects.
Prior to joining Rose Associates, Werner served as the on-site property manager of a 683-unit condominium/rental/commercial property for Milford Management. He was in charge of the building’s daily operations and he oversaw several large capital improvement projects. Earlier, Werner acted as an account executive of six luxury cooperative apartment buildings for Douglas Elliman – Gibbons & Ives, Inc.
Mr. Werner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and management from the New York Institute of Technology.
