Palermo spent 15 years with Goldman Properties in New York, helping revitalize landmark districts including SoHo and Stone Street in the Financial District. Among his achievements during this time was the development of residential condominium 101 Greene Street, the first new cast-iron building in SoHo in over 100 years and 109 Greene Street, a landmark commercial and residential property.

Palermo also helped spearhead the revitalization of Stone Street along with Goldman and Harry Poulakakos. Among the many projects he worked on in the area was the conversion of 18 Pearl Street, 79 Pearl Street and 85 Pearl Street into loft apartments.

Prior to joining Warburg, Palermo was regional director in New York for SHVO for over four years, overseeing the sales and marketing of several major condominium projects including Gramercy Starck, W New York Downtown and 20 Pine Street.

He then brought his vast experience in development, design, sales and marketing to Warburg Realty, one of Manhattan’s oldest and most respected residential real estate companies. He works in the firm’s Tribeca office, representing buyers, sellers and developers throughout New York City.

“Mark is an expert at envisioning a property’s potential, having worked on the revitalization of historic buildings for so many years and helping hundreds of clients fulfill their dreams,” stated Frederick Warburg Peters, president of Warburg Realty.

Among his recent key sales was a four-bedroom condominium at 250 West Street in Tribeca, a 3,000-square-foot duplex residence at 275 Water Street in the Financial District, and a three-bedroom loft apartment at 161 Hudson Street in Tribeca sold for the highest price per square foot in the building.

“At Warburg, I look forward to continuing to work with development partners to help revitalize the next great neighborhoods in New York, from the Bowery and Canal Street to select areas of Brooklyn,” Palermo stated.

He is currently working with developers on projects in Tribeca, SoHo, Brownstone Brooklyn and throughout the city, including five residences spanning an entire floor at The Savoy on East 61st Street in Midtown. Once combined, this spectacular 4,000-square-foot home will boast four balconies and views in every direction.
