–Submissions are in for REBNY’s Ingenious Deal of the Year Awards; Honors to be presented April 23–
NEW YORK, NY – March 6, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — The Real Estate Board of New York has announced the submissions for the industry’s most coveted commercial honors, the Most Ingenious Deal of the Year Awards. The awards will be presented on April 23rd at the annual cocktail party of the Sales Brokers Committee at the 101 Club. Nineteen of 2012’s most creative deals — completed by 37 top notch real estate dealmakers — are competing for REBNY’s first, second and third place prizes.
Winners will be judged in the categories of finance, leasing, and sales by a panel of industry leaders. The honors are presented to the dealmakers that demonstrate the most ingenuity, creativity and professional skill.
“REBNY received nineteen very interesting submissions for this year’s Most Ingenious Deal of the Year awards, which is a significant increase in submissions than in past years. As the number of submissions grows, the brokers continue to raise the bar for the competition,” said Steve Spinola, REBNY President. “This year’s deals reflect the highest caliber of transaction within the commercial real estate market and we are pleased to distinguish those who have put in the time and effort. REBNY wishes the best of luck to all those competing.”
The Henry Hart Rice Award, which memorializes Henry Hart Rice, a Most Ingenious Deal of the Year Award winner and five-time Robert T. Lawrence Award recipient, will be presented to the first-place winner. The Robert T. Lawrence Award is the second place award and the Edward S. Gordon Award is the third place award.
