Progress, Momentum in Lower Manhattan
New York, NY – July 13, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — The New York City Chapter of CoreNet Global, the leading professional association for corporate real estate and workplace executives serving multinational companies in the Fortune and Global 1000, will hold a panel discussion on July 28 entitled: World Trade Center: 10 Years Later, Progress and Momentum in Lower Manhattan.
The event, which will explore developer and tenant perspectives on the state of Lower Manhattan, will be held from 4.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, in the 10th Floor Visitor’s Center at 7 World Trade Center. A Hard Hat tour of the WTC site and the new memorial park will be offered to the first 50 people to sign up for the event, and will take place at the conclusion of the panel discussion.
Janno Lieber, President of Silverstein Properties’ World Trade Center LLC, and Thomas Bow, Senior Vice President for the Durst Organization, will provide the developer perspectives while Robert Bennis, Managing Director of Real Estate for Condé Nast, Advance Magazine Publishers, will offer the perspective of tenants. The Condé Nast deal is the largest transaction in World Trade Center property to date.
Registration starts at 4.30 p.m. The cost for the event is $35 for end-users, $50 for service providers and $100 for non-members. A cocktail and networking reception will be held after the event.
