NEW YORK CITY, NY – April 11, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Cresa has negotiated a five-year lease that brings online advertising technology firm The Rubicon Project to 183 Madison Avenue, says Ed Wartels, vice president of Cresa.
The tenant will take immediate occupancy of a 4,706-square-foot pre-built suite on the 14th floor.
The Rubicon Project is relocating its New York office from Seventh Avenue. The firm, which also has offices in Los Angeles, Seattle, London, Paris, Hamburg and Sydney, offers publishers and ad buyers a real time trading platform that enables more than 100 billion ad trades per month. Its customers include Time Inc., Guardian News & Media and CareerBuilder, among hundreds of other comScore 500 publishers.
“Initially, this tenant was interested in relocating further south, but when they saw this space, they knew it was the right fit,” notes Mr. Wartels.
“The landlord, Ribgy 183 LLC, has been extremely accommodating about modifying the space specifically to meet Rubicon’s needs. What’s more, the lighting is wonderful, and the office is in a centrally-located area.”
Mr. Wartels and Brian Davies, principal from Cresa Los Angeles, represented the tenant. Harry Blair and Sean Kearns of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord.
