Herron applied her expertise of relationships with Japanese media to garner the HSMAI Golden Bell award for “Marketing to the Consumer” through 11 trips to Japan, and secure editorial coverage from Japanese editors and tourism professionals, to reach over 22 million Japanese readers/TV viewers during a one-year period with a budget of $30,000.
