In-Flight Entertainment Software Developer Relocates To Malkin Properties’ 500 Mamaroneck Ave. in Harrison, NY

HARRISON, N.Y. – February 24, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — CoKinetic Systems Corp., a globally recognized leader in in-flight entertainment software, will relocate its headquarters to 500 Mamaroneck Avenue in Harrison, N.Y., according to Jeffrey H. Newman, executive vice president of Malkin Properties, the building’s marketing and managing agent.

The tenant will take occupancy of a 4,668-square-foot space on the fifth floor in March 2012, moving from 44 South Broadway in nearby White Plains.

“Finding high-quality office space with top-of-the-line amenities is crucial to accommodate CoKinetic’s continued growth and expanded staff,” says Greg Johnson, chief financial officer of CoKinetic Systems. “Given Malkin Properties’ solid reputation for hands-on management and first-rate amenities, 500 Mamaroneck seemed like a great fit for our business.”

In addition to its Harrison headquarters, CoKinetic has offices in Lake Forest, Calif., Bangalore, India and is set to open an office in Hangzhou, China this year. The company’s patented technology, which creates apps for multiple platforms, powers the majority of award-winning in-flight entertainment systems of some of the world’s leading airlines.

“We’re very happy with CoKinetic’s decision to bring its business to the Malkin Properties portfolio,” says Mr. Newman. “The Trophy quality of 500 Mamaroneck Avenue, its top-tier amenities, on-site management services and convenient access to highways and to the Mamaroneck train station continue to attract quality companies to the building.”

Mr. Newman, together with senior leasing associate Kimberly Zaccagnino and leasing associate Tara L. Long, represented the landlord in the transaction. The tenant was represented by Howard Greenberg of Howard Properties, Ltd. and Jon Marwell of Princeton Realty Group.

500 Mamaroneck Avenue is a five-story, 285,000-square-foot, multi-tenanted office building located in Harrison, N.Y., only 1/4 mile south of the Hutchinson River Parkway and 1 ¼ mile north of I-95, and less than 30 minutes from New York City by car or train. The building, comprising dual “center core” pods, subdivides well for multiple users within each pod, with unit size availabilities from 1,100 square feet.

A recipient of The Office Building of the Year Award (TOBY) from the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Westchester County, 500 Mamaroneck features on-going building wide enhancements, including recent upgrades within the fitness center; in-house concierge service; Café 500 dining facility and catering service; a tenants-only fitness center with locker room facilities; tenants-only multimedia conference facility; free on-site parking; 24/7 on-site security; a broad range of telecommunications systems; an ATM; “park-like” landscaping; and tenants-only shuttle service to the Mamaroneck train station.
