Managing director has more than 15 years of experience in Downtown office market

NEW YORK, NY – March 26, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Jones Lang LaSalle has named John Wheeler, managing director, to oversee its Lower Manhattan office. He will also continue to provide brokerage and advisory services to some of the firm’s most significant clients.

Wheeler, 50, has more than 28 years of experience in all aspects of commercial real estate, including brokerage, asset management, acquisitions and property management.

“John Wheeler was the natural choice to lead Jones Lang LaSalle’s activities in Downtown New York,” said Peter Riguardi, president of Jones Lang LaSalle’s New York region. “Lower Manhattan is one of the most important and challenging office submarkets in the tri-state area, and our commitment to the area has never wavered.
