NEW YORK, NY – February 16, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Jones Lang LaSalle announced that Shawna Menifee has joined the firm as an executive vice president with its New York operations. She will be responsible for cultivating new business relationships throughout the United States with an emphasis on the New York metropolitan area.
Menifee has 13 years of experience in New York commercial real estate. She has expertise in handling complex transactions for large not-for-profit organizations, media and advertising firms, and government agencies. Menifee has earned a reputation for service excellence and productivity in the industry.

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Menifee served as a senior director of a leading brokerage team in Manhattan, where she oversaw more than 1 million square feet in tenant representation and agency leasing assignments.
Earlier, she served as an account executive with CBS in New York, where she represented 65 CBS-owned and operated radio stations located in the top 25 markets throughout the United States.
Menifee received a bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing from Michigan State University and a master of science in real estate from New York University. She is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, the Alumni Association of New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate and the Association of Real Estate Women. Menifee is also a board member of the Abyssinian Development Corp.
