Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. announced that Neil Underberg has joined the firm as a partner and John Hadlock has joined as of counsel.
New York, NY – June 8, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Underberg will continue to represent major developers and educational and charitable institutions in New York and throughout the country in the acquisition and assemblage of large tracts for the development of shopping centers, office buildings, hotels, and other commercial and educational projects.
Hadlock will continue to represent clients involved in real estate, construction and finance litigation as well as cases involving publishing law and antitrust law, with an emphasis on product marketing, promotion, distribution and circulation.

Prior to joining Rosenberg & Estis, Underberg was a partner with Winston & Strawn LLP. Earlier, he served as a partner with Whitman Breed Abbott & Morgan LLC and as a founding partner of Finley, Kumble, Wagner, Heine, Underberg, Manley, Myerson & Casey.
Underberg received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Syracuse University, a juris doctorate from Cornell University Law School and a masters of law degree from New York University. He is a member of the Association of the Bar of New York City, the American Law Institute and the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. Underberg is also a member of the Cornell University Law Advisory Council and director of the New York University Real Estate Institute. He also serves on the board of directors of Alexander’s Inc.
Prior to joining Rosenberg & Estis, Hadlock was a partner with Winston & Strawn LLP.
He received a bachelor’s degree in arts from Colgate University, a bachelor’s degree in law from St. John’s University School of Law, and a masters of law degree from New York University. Hadlock is a member of the Federal Bar Council, the American Bar
Association and the Association of the Bar of New York City and has served on several of active committees with the organization. He is a member of the board of the Southampton Hospital Foundation and the Northern Ireland Children’s Enterprise and has been an advisor to the Association to Benefit Children.
Hadlock has written and lectured on antitrust and product distribution laws, including permissible product promotions and advertising. He also wrote a comprehensive set of telemarketing guidelines for publishers and their subscription field agents consistent with the Federal Trade Commission’s Telemarketing Rule and its policy on industry self-regulation.
