Top-Of-the-Line Cashmere Supplier Comes to Madison Avenue In Deal Brokered by Winoker Realty
NEW YORK CITY, NY – September 12, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Winoker Realty has leased midtown office space to Oakhurst Partners, LLC, the corporate parent of cashmere and camelhair fabric supplier Amicale Industries, Inc., according to Barry Bernstein, senior managing director at Winoker.
The tenant relocated from 1359 Broadway and has taken occupancy of the entire 5,000-square-foot 13th floor of 148 Madison Avenue for a 7-year term, ending in late 2018. The asking rent for the space was $36 per square foot.
Amicale Industries supplies the finest cashmere and camelhair fabrics to leading brand names, including Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan, Regency, Fleurette, Searle, Calvin Klein, Joseph Abboud, Hickey Freeman, and Bill Blass – in both ladies’ and men’s varieties. The company also offers an equally renowned accessories business, producing quality scarves, shawls, wraps and blankets that are available worldwide in such iconic stores as Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, and Saks Fifth Avenue.
