Previously, Howard was an agent at The Corcoran Group, where she represented buyers and sellers throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan. In 2010, she was honored with “Deal of the Year” by the Real Estate Board of New York, becoming the first agent in Brooklyn and the first African American ever to win the award.

Howard is completing a book about her experience becoming a real estate agent, and the lessons, challenges and triumphs she has enjoyed along the way. She is also a dedicated community volunteer who enjoys helping to improve and impact the lives of others, particularly issues involving women and children. Earlier in her career, Howard was a principal member of an event and entertainment company based in the Midwest, where she specialized in marketing and public relations.
She is currently working towards an advanced degree in real estate at New York University, and has a Bachelor’s in Marketing from the University of Maryland.
